What it does

Game Breaker sets up a game and its multiplayer for you. Everything below happens from one window, and you can undo any of it.

Adds games to your library

Search a game, pick it, and it shows up in Steam ready to install. No files to copy by hand.

Gets online play working

Turn on Play Online for a game and it sorts out the matchmaking so you end up in the same lobby.

Fixes known games in one click

Some games need a specific fix. Auto-Fix looks at what you have installed, finds the right one, and applies it.

Tells you what actually works

Games are marked playable, unplayable or Denuvo-blocked, so you know before you spend an evening on it.

Keeps itself up to date

New versions install themselves on launch. Everyone in the group stays on the same build.

Sends a report when stuck

If something breaks, one button collects what's wrong on your PC and sends it over so it can be looked at.

Getting started

First run takes a few minutes, mostly waiting on Steam.

  1. Close Steam

Game Breaker edits Steam's files, so Steam has to be shut down before you install.

  2. Run the installer

Windows may warn you about an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Add a game

Search for it, add it, then start Steam. The game appears in your library, ready to install.

  4. Turn on Play Online

Only for games you want to play together. Everyone in the lobby needs the same game version.

Supported games

Every game the group has checked, with what happened when we tried it. Search before you ask.
